Our Matte Pride Flag Mug features a rainbow pride flag painted by hand. The outside of the mug is unglazed, giving a matte look, while the lip and the inside of the mug are glazed.
Each Matriline mug is thrown on the pottery wheel and hand-painted in our home studio.
This mug holds approximately 400 mL and is both microwave and dishwasher-safe. It's designed to be used, well-loved, and passed on.
Because every piece is handmade, slight variations in size, shape, colour, and pattern are to be expected. No two mugs are exactly alike, making each one uniquely yours.
You may also notice fine lines within the glaze. This is known as crackle and is a natural characteristic of this style of glaze, adding to the unique character of each piece.
